Université Côte d’Azur (UCA) is a public research and teaching university with campuses in Nice and the surrounding area. UCA is located on the world-famous French Riviera, a traditional hotspot for artistic and cultural activity which has also become a major center for technological innovation, in particular with the development of Sophia Antipolis, the largest technology park in Europe. UCA is building on this rich heritage to create a modern French university based on scientific excellence, innovative and forward-looking educational programs, and a focus on societal and regional challenges. UCA boasts more than 30,000 students at the undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D. levels, as well as high level research laboratories covering all major academic disciplines, with particular strengths in the life and health sciences, astronomy, business and finance, mathematics, and the digital sciences.
